Looking Forward

Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo helped Real Madrid seal a spot in the next round of the UEFA Champions League after drawing Italian side Juventus this past Tuesday.

Madrid faced a tuff Juventus side that took the first half of the game in their hands after they were rewarded a penalty around the 30th minute. Madrid turned the game on its head after halftime when both Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale socred two goals back to back giving Madrid the advantage at 2-1.

This end-to-end action was not over until the final minutes of the game when Spanish International Fernando Llorente headed the ball past Iker Casillas to snatch a point in this heated matchup.

Real Madrid are now six points clear of Group B in the UEFA Champions League as they plan to face Galatasaray on the 27th of November. Madrid now hold 10 points in their group table and are likely to proceed to the next round of the tournament where they have the chance of facing rivals Barcelona.
